About Me
Lois Barnett, LAc, Dipl Ac (NCCAOM), Lic Ac (UK), spent most of her childhood communing with the Elements in the forest. She studied art and music from grade school through college, and Wu Shu martial arts and healing for six years.
Lois received her licentiate degree in Classical Five Element Acupuncture in 1979 from the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, UK, under the tutelage of Professor J.R. Worsley.
Lois was selected by Professor Worsley as one of the founding members of his Master Apprentice Program. She served as a primary faculty member in the classroom of the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Colorado for seven years and mentored Classical Five Element Acupuncture students through their supervised clinical practice for 30 years. Lois was also the clinical supervisor of the Five Element clinic at Bastyr University for two years.
Throughout her forty one years of private practice Lois has mentored patients, practitioners of other healing arts, and anyone interested in learning to access and apply Wu Hsing, Nature's Universal Five Element Awareness, to any and all aspects of Life.
